South Sudan's Business Enterprise said it would host a first-ever two-day motor show in Juba. The car showroom will be held at the Bros Hotel Riverside from Saturday to Sunday, July 2 and 3, 2022. The event aims to bring together all car dealers and enthusiasts. According to one of its founders, Yanga Victor, it will also provide networking and business opportunities.

Sometimes people buy cars because of the ongoing trend, a bandwagon effect. Still, with auto-lube, car enthusiasts can meet the experts at the car dealership and get hands-on information about the type of car to buy based on road conditions,” said Victor.

Organizers say the Juba auto show is about to move away from expensive traditional outdoor car show decor, allowing dealers and car enthusiasts to socialize and do business freely in an outdoor setting. Victor said the event also aims to enable local micro-enterprises to connect with the country's most established business personalities and share their entrepreneurial experiences.

"A lot of the time, we have people who don't feel worthy of being a classic car dealership, and a lot of the time, those people are called in by car dealers on the black market," he said.

"It's something we hope to avoid, and through this show, car enthusiasts can meet directly with authorized and genuine car dealerships."

For the first time in the history of the Juba Motor Show, it is also a lifestyle event, during which the Best of Show awards will be given. The car with the best interior design will get 100 liters of fuel, and the winner of people’s choice will receive an additional 100 liters of fuel. Trinity Energy Company and Bros Petroleum will supply both.

The event will run on two scheduled days, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
